Usually, cold storage is specially constructed, and it is made up of concrete, stone or brick, to protect it from the various disturbances like cold leakage. The floors and ceilings, walls and doors are appropriately shielded with superior segregating materials with low thermal conductivity. In a cold storage plant, the compressor is regarded as the core device as well as the only power consuming machine.
